Car valeting prices in the UK vary more than most people expect — and the biggest single factor is simply how big your car is. A supermini takes far less time and product than a seven-seater, so almost every reputable valeter prices by vehicle size. Below are the real, current prices we charge in 2026, so you know exactly what to budget.
Car valeting prices by service (2026)
| Service | From | Typical time |
|---|---|---|
| Mini valet | £55 | 45–60 min |
| Full valet | £90 | 2–4 hours |
| Interior cleaning | £60 | 1–2 hours |
| Exterior wash + wax | £50 | 1–1.5 hours |
| Machine polish | £120 | 3–5 hours |
| Ceramic coating | £150 | Half/full day |
| Paint correction | £450 | 1–2 days |
Why vehicle size changes the price
A mini valet on a small car (think Ford Ka or VW Up!) starts at £55. The same service on a large SUV like a BMW X5 or Land Rover Discovery is around £80, because there's simply more glass, carpet and panel to cover. Our full valet follows the same logic — £90 for a supermini up to roughly £140 for a 7-seater or van.
What affects the final cost?
- Vehicle size — the number-one factor, as above.
- Condition — heavy pet hair, mould or ingrained dirt takes longer. See our guides on pet hair removal and odour treatment.
- Service depth — a quick refresh versus a full interior shampoo and exterior decontamination.
- Add-ons — wax upgrades, headlight restoration, or seat shampooing.
Does mobile valeting cost more?
No. Because we're fully self-contained — carrying our own water and power — there's no premium for coming to your home or workplace. You get the same price as a fixed-unit valet, without the drive or the wait. We cover Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bristol and 30+ UK towns.
