Biohazard cleaning is systematic. Each stage is essential. Done properly, the vehicle is returned to a safe, odour-free condition.

Affected area assessed. Technician equipped with appropriate PPE. Bodily material contained and safely bagged for disposal. Pre-treatment disinfectant applied to affected area and adjacent surfaces immediately.

Hospital-grade disinfection ~30 min

Certified disinfectant applied to all affected surfaces — seats, carpet, seatbelts, door cards and any splattered areas. Dwell time allowed for full pathogen kill. All hard surfaces wiped down thoroughly.

Hot water extraction removes contaminated material from fabric. Steam sanitisation directed through all crevices, seat runners and areas where liquid may have penetrated. Seams and joins treated to ensure thorough kill.

Is the vehicle safe to use straight after cleaning?
Yes — after the ozone ventilation period (typically 30 minutes with windows open), the vehicle is safe to drive and use. The disinfection stage uses certified products that leave no harmful residue.
Can you remove the smell completely?
Yes — the ozone treatment eliminates odour molecules at molecular level. Ozone does not mask the smell; it breaks down the molecules causing it. After ventilation, the vehicle should be completely odour-free.
Do I need to prepare the vehicle?
No preparation needed. Remove personal items if accessible, but do not attempt to clean the affected area yourself before we arrive — this can spread contamination and make the job more difficult.
Does insurance cover biohazard cleaning?
