Cab vacuumed, cleaned and dust-free — a workspace again
SummaryA Worcester builder’s Ford Transit Custom cab was buried under plaster dust, sandwich wrappers, tool debris and months of ground-in dirt. Our interior cleaning stripped it all back, leaving a dust-free, genuinely usable cab — his "mobile office" again.
The challenge
A working van cab takes more abuse than almost any car interior. This one had fine plaster dust coating every surface and worked deep into the seat fabric and vents, muddy footwells, a sticky console, and the general debris of life on the tools. Beyond comfort, the dust was being blown around every time the fan came on — not pleasant to breathe all day. The owner wanted the cab back to a clean, professional space without taking the van off the road.
What we did
Interior cleaning is a thorough, focused cabin service — no exterior, all attention inside:
Debris clear-out — rubbish removed, then a deep vacuum of seats, carpets, mats and every crevice.
Dust control — compressed air and brushes to lift fine plaster dust out of the vents, seams and switchgear where it hides (related to our air-vent cleaning approach).
Surfaces — dashboard, console, door cards and steering wheel degreased and wiped down.
Seats & mats — rubber mats scrubbed, fabric seats cleaned, and stubborn marks treated.
Glass — cleaned streak-free, removing the dusty interior film.
The resultThe cab was transformed from a dusty tip into a clean, professional workspace — no more dust clouds from the vents, clear glass, and a cabin the owner didn’t mind spending his day in. He’s booked a regular interior clean to keep on top of it. For the worst stains and odours, we’d step up to a full interior detail, but a straight interior clean was exactly right here.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does interior cleaning include?
Interior cleaning is a thorough cabin-only service: a deep vacuum of seats, carpets and crevices, dust and debris removal from vents and seams, degreasing of the dashboard and surfaces, seat and mat cleaning, and streak-free interior glass.
Can you clean plaster dust out of a work van?
Yes. Fine plaster dust is lifted from the vents, seams and switchgear with compressed air and brushes, then vacuumed and wiped from every surface, so it stops being blown around when the fan runs.
